Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching, born March 28 1977 was an American actress who is best well-known for her character in 24 as well as the voice work that she provided for Tess in Naughty Dog's video game The Last of Us. Wersching was born in St. Louis, Missouri and was raised there. She was a graduate of Crossroads College Preparatory School, St. Louis' Central West End in the year 1995. She was a competitor in Irish dance in her early years and was a member of the St. Louis Celtic Dancers. Millikin University gave her a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, which she earned in 1999. Wersching started her acting career as an actor on Star Trek: Enterprise. She went on to play guest roles on shows like Charmed as well as Killer Instinct, Charmed and Supernatural. From March 2007 through November 2007 she was the recurring role as Amelia Joffe on ABC Daytime's soap series General Hospital. Her other theater credits include Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire and the Utah Shakespearean Festival. Wersching also appeared in several guest roles on television shows like CSI, NCIS and Rizzoli & Islands, Hawaii Five-0 and Body of Proof. In 2014, she appeared as an episode regular on the initial season of the Amazon Prime crime show Bosch. Wersching played catcher for the National League in the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game.In December 2012, it was announced that in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us, Wersching was the voice and mo-cap actor of the character Tess. The character was teased on Geoff Keighley's Twitter page before she was finally made public in the story trailer that was shown on the Spike Video Game Awards on December 7th, 2012.In September 2021, it was announced that Wersching was to play the role of the Borg Queen in the sequel to Star Trek: Picard.
