Rachel Emily Nichols is the daughter Alison and James Nichols. She has English, French Canadian, German, Irish, Italian and Scottish ancestry. Cony High School was her high school in Augusta. She graduated with a diploma in math and also a high jump competition. Columbia University in New York City was where she earned two degrees in math and economics. She began modeling, and launched a successful career with work for such high-profile companies as Guess?, Abercrombie & Fitch and L'Oreal. Rachel was able to move into acting, snagging a role on the HBO situation comedy Sex and the City (1998) after her first audition. In the prequel Dumb and Dumberer, When Harry Met Lloyd (2003) her character made her film debut playing Jessica Matthews. Her success continued with roles in films such as The Amityville Horror (2006), The Inside (2005) and Alias (2001), G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra 2009, Criminal Minds 2005 (a regular role in the role of FBI Agent Ashley Seaver), and Conan the Barbarian 2011 Columbia University was her graduation with a double major economics and math. She played the main part of Kiera Cameron who played a police officer on the science-fiction series Continuum (2012). Modeled for Guess?, Abercrombie & Fitch, L'Oreal and Nicole Miller. On December 30, 2013, she became engaged to real property developer Michael Kershaw. She is natural blonde.
