Ayelet Zurer

Ayelet Zuer, an Israeli actress, has been praised for her performances. Born in Tel Aviv in 1967, she first caught the attention of Hollywood when she was given the part of Eric Bana's wife on the Oscar(r), nominated movie Munich (2005). Zurer has been in a variety of Studio films since arriving in America, such as Sony Pictures' Vantage Point which starred William Hurt and Dennis Quaid, Samuel Goldwyn's Fugitive Parts opposite Stephen Dillane, Paul Schrader’s Adam Resurrected opposite Jeff Goldblum, and Willem Dafoe. Ron Howard's Angeles and Demons, opposite Tom Hanks, Darling Companion an ensemble Lawrence Kasdan cast featuring Diane Keaton, Kevin Kline and Warner Bros. Man Of Steel alongside Russell Crow. Ewan McGregor was her co-filming partner in Rodrigo Garcia's The Last Days in Desert. The actress also waited for The Last Knights to be released by Kazuaki Kriya Kazuaki Kriya, the Japanese director. Recently, she was awarded the Gold Nymph Award as Outstanding Actress in the Drama Series at 54th Festival of Monte-Carlo Television. This was for her role on "Hostages". Ayelet was awarded an Israeli Film And Television Academy Award in recognition of her performance as Nina in the Tragedies. She was nominated to be a part of the Academy Awards for her performance in the films Only Dogs Run Free (from the Holy Apple Field), Desperado, Rutenberg, and The Dybuk from Holy Apple Field. She was awarded the Haifa International Film Festival critic's award, and a star in Haifa's "film Boulevard" for her achievements in regional and international film. Zurer was also awarded the Israeli Television Academy Award for her lead performance in "In Treatment," an extremely acclaimed television series that has been made into a series by HBO to be adapted for American television. In 2014, she was nominated as an apposite for the most acclaimed show of 2014 "Shtisel". The actress was also awarded the best actress award in drama, for her portrayal of an amazing surgeon confronted by a life and death choice in Hostages. This show was broadcast to BBC4 and Canal Plus as well as the American ABC. The "face " of one of Israel's biggest women's clothing companies- Golbary. Ayelet is a producer as well as author, and an illustrator of two adult books, "Shorts" and the best seller "Badolina" by Gabi Nitazn. Ayelet has been working on a several of her own ideas in Israel and the US and has expressed an interest in working internationally with directors from across the globe and believes in collaborating with unknown writers and directors as well as the well-known ones.
