Natalie Dormer
(born 11 February 1982) is an English actress. Her nominations include an
Empire Award, nominations for an Critics' Choice Award along with two Gemini
Awards, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. Dormer was born in Reading
(Berkshire) and made her TV debut as Anne Boleyn on the Showtime series The
Tudors. This role has earned her acclaim. In Sweet Nothings (2010), she made
her stage debut. She was also the Duchess of York in Madonna's W.E. (2011) as
well as Private Lorraine in Captain America: The First Avenger (2011). After
Miss Julie (2012) at the Young Vic, was highly applauded. Dormer was
appreciated for her performances in the show After Miss Julie (2012) at the
Young Vic. She also voiced Irene Adler/Moriarty on the CBS series Elementary
(2013-15), Sara Price Jess Price in The Forest (2016) and voiced Onica in the
show The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance (2019). Her praise was for her
character in Penny Dreadful City of Angels (2020). Dormer was born in Reading
(Berkshire), England on the 11th of February, 1982. She is the daughter of Gary
Dormer, Claire Richards, and Samantha Dormer.
