She was born on 1st day of March in 1981 in Moscow to the parents of director of the company that manufactures fur Gregory T. and a Russian economist Tatyana Semenovich. As a child she fell down ill, and after spending six months in hospital he was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. The skating skills he developed with co-pilot Denis Samokhin made him famous. The pair competed in the Junior World Championships in two distinct years. They placed 8th in 1993 and 7th in 1994. After a brief collaboration with Maxim Kachanov, they placed fifth in the Goodwill Games of 1994. Then in 1995 she teamed up again alongside Vladimir Fedorov. They both had success with the partnership, as they both won the Finlandia Trophy and participated in the Grand Prix of Figure Skating. They achieved incredible results but it was their 15th position finish at the World Championships in 1998 that was the culmination of their friendship.
