Soon after her first job as a model she soon moved into acting, after appearing as a guest on 90's television shows such as Boy Meets World and High Incident. She debuted in film with the drama Nowhere that was released in 1997. Then, in American Beauty and American Pie, she gained wider recognition for her roles. Following that, she starred as the lead in Sugar & Spice (2000) with American Pie star Jason Biggs.
